Nike To Release Shark-Inspired Tuned Air Exclusively At Foot Locker

Foot Locker and Nike are set to introduce an exclusive set of Tuned Air sneakers that evoke a shark-like mentality. Individually dubbed “Before the Bite” and “After the Bite”, the first selection utilizes grey as its dominant hue that plays off the color of the ocean’s top predator – the shark. “After the Bite” utilizes a deep red pigment that is a nod to a shark bite and the bloody destruction that the animal is capable of. For those that don’t know, the Tuned Air is a slightly modified version of the popular Air Max Plus that sees the pattern on its upper assimilated into the material, rather than placing it atop the design. In fact, the Tuned Air is exclusive to Foot Locker, Inc. and is available exclusively at the Foot Locker Family of Brands – Footaction, Champs Sports, Eastbay, etc. Stock is expected to arrive exclusively at Foot Locker in Europe and Asia on March 29th, and then will be followed by a US and Canada release on April 18th for $170 USD.
