Ben Felderstein A Bathing Ape‘s AAPE subsidiary is back once again, teaming up with FILA for a unexpected collaboration on one of the brand’s most important sneakers. Sporting primarily white leather, the Original Tennis silhouette that you see here is given an AAPE makeover that places the Japanese streetwear brand’s signature elements all throughout the design. BAPE‘s customary camouflage design comes into play on its rear panelling, while “AAPE By A Bathing Ape” can be seen embroidered directly underneath it leading up to the FILA-stamped midsole. AAPE branding takes over the heel, while it shares the spotlight on the co-branded tongue tab that cleverly uses imagery from the two partners.
