adidas Originals is finally ready to officially unveil its next chapter – the adidas Deerupt franchise. Inspired by urban planning and architecture, the Deerupt utilizes the concept of a grid as its central design principle. The gridded aesthetic was initially featured on marathon training silhouettes in the 1980’s, and on today’s modernized sneaker, it is stretched across the entire shoe. Equipped with an ultra-lightweight construction, its knit uppers are covered in the aforementioned stretchable netting, that combine with its zoned foam pockets to create an easy to wear sneaker that also completely conforms to its wearer. Debuting in this “Solar Bird” colorway you see below, it combines two classic Three Stripes tones – Solar Red and Bluebird – to create this memorable offering.

Pairs will arrive at adidas stockists around the globe on March 22nd with an MSRP of $100 USD. For more on the Deerupt, check out the pair that is slated to release as part of the upcoming Dragon Ball Z x adidas collection later this year.
