Nike Adds Italy Flag Colors To The Air Max 97 “Metallic Gold”

Last year Nike released multiple metallic renditions of the Air Max 97, including a gold version of the souped up premium variety, but prior to the Anniversary hoopla, the brand brought back the OG “Silver Bullet” with Italian flag colors on the heel and tongue tabs. Now the Swoosh is returning to that concept with this Metallic Gold offering that sports the colors of the Italian flag as a tribute to the country that kept this shoe rockin’ for years after the original release. Currently, this Air Max 97 selection is scheduled to arrive at Nike sportswear retailers in Europe on January 18th. In other 97 news, peep the new CR7 version hitting stockists soon as well.
