Nike is continuing to push the limits of its Air Max designs, as we have seen sole swaps between the Air Max 97 and the Air Max Plus, and now the Swoosh is placing the former’s upper on another sole unit. Two of the most popular silhouettes that have hit the market this year have undoubtedly been the aforementioned Air Max 97, as well as the Nike Vapormax. Today brings a first look at the hybridized design concept that molds the two together for a new-look concept that brings out the strengths of both sneakers. Nike has done this before with sole units, as the “One Time Only” Pack that debuted in 2006 saw the new 360 Air Max unit placed underneath the Air Max 90, 95, and 97’s uppers. No official information has surfaced yet regarding when this hybrid will hit retailers, but expect them sometime during Spring 2018. Will you cop this combo of two of the Swoosh’s most popular designs when they hit stores?
