Update: The Nike Kyrie 4 in black/white releases on December 20th, 2017 ($120), followed by the Dark Obsidian/Black colorway on January 6th, 2017 ($120).
The importance of Boston Celtics superstar guard Kyrie Irving to Nike is apparent as his top-selling signature shoe has been the anchor for the brand’s Basketball category. News of a lower-priced “takedown” model sent waves across the sneaker and basketball world as his logo will now be available in multiple pricepoints. That also means that a price bump is likely for the upcoming Nike Kyrie 4 signature shoe, which according to European retailers is set to release on December 21st. Thus far the only known colorway of the shoe is the white/gum version that was spotted on the champion’s feet during filming of the Uncle Drew movie, but with a tentative release date now out in the open, we can expect the “woke” one to potentially wear them in-game as we lead up to the official unveil. Stay tuned for updates.
