Since its mass global return in 2013, the Nike Air Huarache has been one of the best-selling retro sneakers on the market. The running shoe, designed by Tinker Hatfield and originally releasing in 1991, was clearly ahead of its time as the slip-on look championed by Nike nearly three decades ago is now the norm. For loyalists to the Huarache, it appears that this original colorway from ’91 is making its return. A release date hasn’t been set yet, but expect these at Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com soon.
