Limited Edt Partners With adidas Consortium For A Luxurious Superstar

adidas Consortium is teaming up with Singapore-based retailer Limited Edt for a special take on the iconic Superstar silhouette. Releasing to coincide with “bank vault”-inspired renovations being made to Limited’s store, the sneaker features a bold design concept meant to reflect the interior of gentlemen’s clubs. The outside panel of the shoe is highlighted by its simplicity as adidas removes the three stripes and replaces them with a clean burnished burgundy finish. The medial inside of this luxurious model comes equipped with a colorfully embroidered floral Batik-inspired design paying tribute to the sneaker’s Southeast Asian origin. Finally, the Superstar’s most recognizable trait – the toe shell – receives a burgundy colored gradient that is supposed to mirror a classic leather sofa.

This Limited Edt. x adidas Consortium Superstar will be available for presale at Limited on October 21st and will release at global Consortium accounts on the 28th.
