Similar to Nike’s Air Max Day, Jordan Brand has declared their own holiday, “MJ Day”. Celebrating the date in 1985 Michael Jordan received the infamous letter from the NBA banning his black and red Air Jordan 1 from the league because it violated uniform rules, the inaugural MJ Day will take place on October 18th.
Jordan Brand’s plans for MJ Day include the release of not one, but two “Banned” colorways of the Air Jordan 32, in both its high and low designs. The release marks only the second drop of the Air Jordan 32, after the all-red “Rosso Corsa” edition released on September 23rd. See full details on each “Banned” colorway here, and you can celebrate MJ Day on October 18th by picking up your own pairs.
