Patta and ASICS Join Forces Once Again For New Knit Version of the GEL-Mai

Few collaborative partnerships in the sneaker world have been as long lasting and consistently successful as that of Patta and ASICS, and the two join forces once again for a new take on the GEL-Mai. The unique late-90s running shoe has received a few makeovers from sneaker shops in the past year since it was re-introduced on the market, but this collab from Patta marks the first time the shoe has released in a modified knit upper. The sock-like build of the asymmetrically laced sneaker features a rose pink hue with Patta logos stitched in, premium brown nubuck overlays, and reflective detailing.

The Patta x ASICS GEL-Mai Knit will release at Patta Amsterdam and London on Saturday October 14th, and online from Patta on Monday October 16th 2017. A wider global release at select ASICS Tiger retailers will follow on Saturday November 4th.
