The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Jones Beach” Is Coming Back

If you’re an Air Force 1 fans with some New York pride, this is definitely some of the best news you’ll receive all year: the classic “Jones Beach” colorway of the Nike Air Force 1 Low is returning. Originally released back in 2009, the shoe pays tribute to New York’s Long Island and its biggest summer destination, Jones Beach. Reproduced as an exact match to the 2009 version, the shoe features a sandy tan canvas upper with a tonal seaweed graphic on the leather heel panels. Light blue accents to match the water are found on the special Jones Beach tongue tag depicting the area’s iconic brick water tower, while the design is finished with clear outsoles with a map of Long Island visible underneath.

So far the “Jones Beach” Air Force 1 Low retro appears to be releasing in-store only this Saturday, July 22nd in the New York area at select retailers like Extra Butter and Renarts. The shoe will also be releasing on the Nike SKNRS app later that day, where you can get access to “SNKRS Presents: Jones Beach North”.
