Like the recent knit update of the ASICS GEL-Kayano Trainer, the GEL-Lyte V also gets its own modernized reconstruction with this new “No Sew” edition. With the popular retro runner’s original shape intact, the GEL-Lyte V NS features a neoprene inner bootie, mesh upper, and seamless fused overlays and branding across most of the upper. Not a true no-sew sneaker, they do have stitched on heel paneling for durability and support.
While the material are all updated, the shoe does debut in a familiar look, the original white, black, purple, and teal colorway of the traditional GEL-Lyte V. The GEL-Lyte V NS will be available at select ASICS Tiger retailers later this summer.
