ASICS GEL-Kayano Trainer Adds “Space Dye” Knit Uppers

ASICS was one of the last brands to join the knit sneaker movement, but they made a huge splash with their new take on the retro standby in the ASICS GEL-Kayano Trainer. The model featured the Kayano’s traditional cage overlay from the 1990s for protective lockdown support while a sock-like fit extended in either mid-top form or cut below the ankle. As with most knit makeovers, the trendy “Multi-Color” look is bound to occur. The ASICS GEL-Kayano Trainer Knit “Space Dye” is no different, as a rainbow array is contrasted by a black cage and white midsole. Stay tuned for stateside availability.
