Updated on July 5th, 2017: The WMNS Nike Air Max 97 “Marina Blue” releases on August 1st, 2017 via Nike SNKRS.
The big year for the Nike Air Max 97 continues with another classic look for the shoe returning. The 20th anniversary celebration for the iconic silver Air Max model continues with a new retro of the “Marina Blue” colorway, last seen in 2010. The colorway basically takes the original silver and red version, but replaces the red with bright blue, also adding it to the full-length Air Max unit. But there’s some bad news for guys hoping to grab another pair, as it appears the “Marina Blue” colorway will only be returning in women’s sizing. Pairs will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com beginning July 6th.
