Nike’s All Condition Gear imprint made a major splash a few years back when the Swoosh announced they’d be resurrecting the iconic trail-inspired subdivision with a modern twist. Of course, this gave way to a number of retro treatments like the Nike ACG Mowabb, but the unreasonable price point killed some of the momentum. Since then, ACG has found success through rugged and durable weather resistant coats and Flyknit-clad boots for Fall and Winter. Today we get a look at a brand new silhouette known as the Nike Air Wild inspired by some of the golden-age ACG footwear designs, but with a twist. No, this isn’t a retooled version of the ACG Wildwood, but instead, an Air Force 1-like midsole gets jagged teeth for a trail-ready response. A slip-on upper utilizes suede and leather for premium touches in either Sail/Team Orange or Black/Anthracite.
