Spike Lee Teases A Jordan Quickstrike Release On Friday

Spike Lee Teases Air Jordan Quickstrike Friday June 16th

Update: The Spike Lee x Air Jordan 1 will release as a quickstrike on June 16th, 2017 exclusively at an undisclosed location in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Stay tuned.

With all of the craziness surrounding new Jordan Brand cosigns from DJ Khaled and Drake, it’s easy to forget who the original celebrity endorser for the Jumpman was: Spike Lee. His Mars Blackmon character helped pitch Mike’s earliest signatures with iconic black and white television commercials that coined the famous phrase ‘it’s gotta be the shoes’. Spike has teased a whole bunch of awesome exclusives on his Instagram lately from a Prince-themed Air Jordan 1 custom to an anti-Donald Trump “Repel Agent Orange” colorway of MJ’s first model. Spike is now teasing an upcoming Jordan quickstrike release for this Friday featuring his signature cartoon mug with the iconic ‘Brooklyn’ bicycle hat that Mars Blackmon liked to rock. There’s no word yet on what the model will be, but the early snapshot showcases a navy leather. We’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime, head over to our Jordan Release Dates page for more.
