Nike is commemorating this achievement with a new “Debate This” TV spot, pointing at all the criticisms and doubts that Kevin Durant had to shoulder throughout his career. Truth is, Durant was always touted as one of the league’s best players and perhaps of all-time, but his move to Golden State is what created a dark shadow of his legacy. Nonetheless, KD is an NBA Champion and no criticism or Instagram meme can take that away from him. A huge congrats to Kevin Durant – welcome to the club.
