adidas has delved deep into the EQT series to update the classic running and training line with Primeknit and Boost for a more modern and casual take on the Equipment line. Now it looks like the three stripes will continue to do just that with the retro adidas ClimaCOOL by giving the ultimate breathable running model a sequel after plenty of retro releases and collaborative offerings hit stores. Today we get a first look at the adidas ClimaCOOL 2, as the three stripe cage overlay has been replaced by a wavy shell-like grid for a futuristic aesthetic. The split outsole remains intact as does the similar shape of the toe and heel. Expect the adidas ClimaCOOL 2 to release just in time for summer starting this July at select international retailers like The Good Will Out.
