We’re excited to see if the Kobe line forms into one of the more experimental signature lines post-playing career because based on what we’ve seen so far, Nike Basketball isn’t afraid to release strange, head-turning offerings with Kobe’s signature logo stamped on for approval since he took off his number 24 jersey for the last time. The Nike Kobe AD NXT is a perfect representation of Avar’s design chops, as the Flyknit offering features a unique lacing system, overlay shroud, and sleek Zoom outsole. Said to be inspired by Zen’s lotus flower, plenty of colorways are next up ranging from that Triple Black look to his Kobe AD NXT Dark Grey.
