Foot Locker Employees Caught “Backdooring” Air Jordan 1 “Royal”

Jordan 1 Royal Footlocker Backdoor

We all know it happens. A monumental sneaker release every other weekend typically ends in disappointed customers since there aren’t enough pairs around, but back-dooring, the act of shop employees holding pairs back for select customers who don’t have to wait on line or enter hapless raffles, still runs rampant. But at Foot Locker? @Don_athon on Twitter posted a video of what appears to be a simple transaction, but Don mentions that he waited four hours for the Royal 1s, only to be told by managers of the store that the shoes were completely sold out. Six pairs in total were “held” behind the counter for customers who appeared to casually walk in, pay for the shoes, and leave. The employee in the video as well as the customers get a bit contentious, because who really likes to be recorded on video?

To Foot Locker Inc.’s credit, they have made efforts to reach out to @Don_athon to investigate the matter. Watch the video and judge for yourself.
