A couple of years ago, University of Louisville head coach Rick Pitino said that Nike schools boast a serious recruiting advantage over say, his adidas sponsored Cardinals. That might’ve changed given the recent Yeezy developments, but it’s hard not to agree with the legendary coach when you see all of the sweet gear that the UNC Tar Heels boast throughout the season. Today we get a look at two brand new UNC PEs ranging from a fresh Carolina Blue gradient on the Air Jordan 31 and a boldly branded Jordan Super.Fly 5 PO featuring a clean white upper with the Tar Heels’ crest on the brand new midfoot strap overlay.
