Nike Honors Roger Federer’s 18th Major Win With Special Sneaker Release

Nike Tennis Classic Ultra Mid Roger Federer Black 1

Roger Federer is in the books as the winner of the 2017 Australian Open after an epic matchup against his longtime rival Rafael Nadal. The victory became his 18th Major victory, and it looks like Nike is ready to celebrate with a special edition sneaker. The tennis great gets his very own version of the Tennis Classic, modified with a mid-top upper in premium leathers in two colorway of tan and black. The shoe also features a neoprene inner sleeve for an even more comfortable fit, and a zipper at the heel for easier access.  It’s all built atop the modernized ‘Ultra’ tooling, featuring the Tennis Classic sole in a cored-out foam construction. Both colorways are available now at Nike.com.
