Red Midsoles Appear On The Nike Flyknit Racer

Nike Flyknit Racer Grey Red Midsole 528826 013

The Nike Flyknit Racer has kept us busy even during the coldest months with fresh renditions like the recently released Triple Black Flyknit Racer and the upcoming Triple White Flyknit Racer. Those two monochromatic options fill a void in any sneakerhead’s regular rotation, but it’s nice to know that Nike is still tinkering with new color blockings for the 2012 running model turned lifestyle must-have.

Today we get a look at the Nike Flyknit Racer Red Midsole, an understated elegant option featuring a Wolf Grey upper speckled with Pure Platinum and other tonal grey shades while white Swoosh branding adds a slight contrast. The real head-turning option here is the, you guessed it, vibrant Team Red midsole stripe that adds an extra pop. This is the first time we’ve seen Nike go with such a simple colorway on the Flyknit portion and follow through with a splash of one of their flashier colors on the midsole of all places.

The official Release Date of the Flyknit Racer “Red Midsole” is February 24th, 2017.
