On-Foot Look At The Air Jordan 1 “Rare Air”

Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Max Orange 01

The Air Jordan 1 has had an awesome run the past few years with a number of OG colorways returning to store shelves accompanied by some rather surprising new looks (think the “Shattered Backboards” and “Top Three” looks). While we just got word that the Royal 1s and Shadow 1s will be returning in 2017, today we get a look at the latest installment of the alternatively branded Air Jordan 1 “Rare Air”.

This particular Air Jordan 1 Rare Air is known as the “Max Orange” colorway and has a familiar aesthetic if you were a fan of the two “Shattered Backboard” styles that released in the past year. But this pair is all about the unique branding choices Jordan Brand made. Not only is the iconic ‘Wings’ logo ditched for a simple ‘Air Jordan’ callout on the ankle collar, but now the Rare Air pairs will come with ‘Nike Air’ branding on the heel panel.
