Even The Jordan Melo M13 Is Releasing In “Red October”

Jordan Melo M13 Red October Preview 01

Updated December 22nd, 2016: The Jordan Melo M13 releases in all-red on January 1st, 2017.

What’s the deal with this Red October renaissance all of a sudden? In the past week alone we’ve seen Nike Sportswear get in on the action with a Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Red October” and Jordan Brand is planning on offering up an Air Jordan 12 “Red October” come 2017. The days of all-red sneakers seemed to be dying down, only for the trend to resurface for the coming New Year. Now Jordan Brand is back with Carmelo Anthony’s latest and greatest – the Jordan Melo M13 – in the coveted shade of all-red-everything.

The Jordan Melo M13 is by far the most ambitious Melo signature in quite some time. Just by looking at the shoe you can see the jarring details that went into creating the pair, from the rubberized synthetic overlays that look like jagged bird feathers to the matching midsole and contrasting mesh medial sides. It’s an aggressive take that’s sure to polarize and this Jordan Melo M13 Red October should only help add attention to Carmelo’s 13th signature with the brand. What do you think of the look? Check out a full view below and we’ll keep you updated on a Release Date right here on Sneaker News.
