If You Own The Taxi 12s, You’ll Need This Throwback Bulls Jersey

Michael Jordan Mitchell Ness Black Pinstripe 3

Mitchell & Ness continues their Michael Jordan partnership in style by bringing back a fan-favorite: the infamous black pinstriped alternate Michael Jordan Bulls jersey from the 1996-97 season. Each jersey does its best to replicate the magic found in the original as the iconic red stripes helped continue the 90s trend of including pinstripes on basketball uniforms. The gold NBA logo on the shoulder was also an eye-catcher. It originally changed from the traditional red, white, and blue to help celebrate the NBA’s 50th anniversary in 1997.

Mike was usually spotted wearing the Air Jordan 12 “Varsity Red” while rocking the pinstripes throughout the two seasons that the Chicago Bulls wore this alternate kit, but there was the rare occasion that he laced up the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” to match one of the greatest jerseys of all time. Check out more detailed shots below and know this Michael Jordan Bulls jersey is available right now at the NBA Store and the Mitchell & Ness flagship store for $300 USD.
