We’ve known that an Air Jordan 7 “Doernbecher” was on the horizon for months now, but over the weekend we finally got to see official teaser photos of the latest partnership between Nike and the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital for the latest Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. Slated to drop on December 17th, the Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher utilizes a premium construction of black textured leather overlays while a base color of maroon harkens back to the days of the Air Jordan 3 Doernbecher with splashes of Metallic Gold serving as an accent. But did you know that there are alternate samples floating around of an all black pair?
Today we get a look at an Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher Alternate Sample that ditches the premium accents of maroon and Metallic Gold for a simple all black upper with white Jumpman branding. The premium touches of fractal textures still remain on the numerous panel overlays while a marron shade is relegated to the midsole to contrast an icy outsole. What do you think of the look? Check out more detailed shots of the Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher alternate sample below and stay tuned for more of the latest release date updates right here on Sneaker News.
