It wasn’t too long ago that Nike Sportswear was going absolutely crazy with the Bo Jackson retro treatments in honor of one of the biggest what if’s in sports history. Had Bo Jackson not suffered a career ending hip injury he could’ve been one of the most dominant figures in not one, but two sports as he was an All-Star in baseball and a Pro-Bowler in football. Perhaps the most iconic image of Bo Jackson is his time in the silver and back running over people as a member of the Oakland Raiders. Today we get a look at the latest Bo-themed retro with the return of his Nike Air Trainer Max 91 in a premium black leather.

The Nike Air Trainer Max ’91 features a construction indicative of its early 90s inception, as premium leather panels drape the side panels with added micro-perforations to help keep the toecap ventilated. A unique nylon strap adds lockdown support featuring vintage ‘Nike’ branding in a contrasting white. What do you think of this Bo Jackson retro?
