RISE NY has teamed up with BrandBlack for their upcoming “Desert Mirage” Collection inspired by co-founder Chase Peso’s own time spent in the Middle East serving two tours in the United States Air Force. Rise’s dedication to storytelling through their collaborative efforts continues with this footwear and apparel collection, as they’ve utilized the simple BrandBlack Mirage complete with a camo printed suede to reflect the sandy landscape seen in Chase’s tour. The left tongue utilizes a four stripe chevron to reference his rank, while the traditional center star is replaced with a basketball graphic to pay homage to BrandBlack’s basketball connection. The right tongue displays Will Durant’s famous quote, “Our knowledge is a receding mirage in an expanding desert of ignorance”. The RISE Private Label Season One effort took over two years from concept to execution and will be available in-store this Thursday, July 14th at 5 PM EST followed by an online release the next day. Only 240 pairs of the RISE x BrandBlack Mirage will be available for purchase at $150 USD each.
