This Saturday is the nineteen-year anniversary of Michael Jordan’s epic “Flu Game”. On June 11th, 1997, MJ took on the Utah Jazz in a pivotal Game 5 of the ’97 Finals while battling a crippling flu. Most players would’ve been rendered ineffective and may have even sat out the game due to the illness, but Jordan did what he does best – he showed up in a big way. Dropping 37 points to highlight an all-around superb game, Jordan let the Bulls to victory and eventually took the Finals series for his fifth NBA title. To commemorate the Flu Game, Jordan Brand is holding a special pop-up shop at Fice Boutique, releasing a limited edition run of the upcoming red/white Air Jordan 12 Retro. There will likely be a re-stock of the Flu Game 12s as well. Get more details below.
