One of the most remarkable design details of the entire Air Jordan legacy is the over-sized tongue with reflective skin on the Air Jordan 5. For this upcoming release, Jordan Brand is taking that signature mark to newer heights with this solid gold treatment that we’ve never seen on a release before. The white/black/gold mix is rather trendy at the moment thanks to the Air Jordan 12 “Wings” that hit stores last week, so could this Air Jordan 5 “Gold Tongue” feature a hidden detail as well? There are no release details as of yet, but stay tuned for more updates as we near Air Jordan 5 season (remember, the Nike Air pair hits in July).
