There’s no doubting that Amsterdam’s Patta is one of the all-time greats in sneaker collaborations. From their time spent with Nike to this upcoming ASICS team-up, the brand’s simplicity and attention to detail has always worked wonders on some of your favorite running models. Now Patta is paying homage to a Japanese brand’s roots with this ASICS Gel-Respector, a pair that features a vibrant combination of bright blue, teal, and orange with luxurious use of nubuck, suede, and a base consisting of micro-perforated leather. The look is said to be inspired by the bold ink colors in traditional anime and manga. While a stateside release date isn’t apparent yet, know that this Patta x ASICS Gel-Respector will hit European retailers like Titolo this weekend.
