Floral inspirations have always been a welcomed addition to the past couple of Kevin Durant signature models, so it shouldn’t come as too big of a surprise that the Flyweave styling of the KD 8 is bringing back a look with a new cherry blossom aesthetic. This pair, known as the Nike KD 8 “Perseverance”, is said to be inspired by Spring’s blooming season and the ability for plants to overcome the harsh weather conditions to grow anew. A deep Team Red and Burgundy base is accented by Bright Crimson Swoosh detailing and hints of University Red throughout while the real draw here is the tongue graphic that features a fully blossomed floral array atop a Sail backdrop. It’s a lifestyle look that retains all of the great performance aspects of Durant’s latest signature and is sure to be as big a hit off the court as on.
