Here’s How adidas Hoops Is Celebrating The Year Of The Monkey

Adidas Chinese New Year 01

Rolling into the New Year, adidas Hoops celebrates the “Year of the Monkey” with the Chinese New Year Collection featuring two limited edition offerings of the D Rose 6 and D Lillard 2. If you haven’t guessed by now, these shoes draw inspiration from the 2016 Chinese Zodiac and the “Fire Monkey.” With both sneakers set to drop soon, perhaps sneakerheads are wondering what happened to the third signature shoe? However you feel about John Wall’s separation from adidas, his shoes will still be sold in stores (while still cashing Trefoil checks), but the brand clearly has no interest in including it in the official announcement of this collection. If you haven’t gotten enough of the “Chinese Zodiac” themed releases, the two pairings of the D Rose 6 will drop on January 15th, 2016 for $140, followed by the D Lillard 2 on February 5th, 2016 for $105.
