Even with a few Flyknit sneakers already hitting NIKEiD, you still can’t actually customize your own blend of colors or stitching patterns for the woven material. That may soon change, as Nike is apparently working on technology to offer everyone their own unique Flyknit. Seen on these recently filed patents by Nike, a system is in the works to allow a full range of customization for Flyknit for interwoven color options and the texture of the weave. If you’re a Flyknit fan, this is definitely something to get excited about, although the final product may still be months or years away.
