Doesn’t The Uncaged adidas Ultra Boost Remind You Of A Nike Sneaker From 2013?

Doesn’t The Uncaged adidas Ultra Boost Remind You Of A Nike Sneaker From 2013?

Ultra Boost Uncaged Preview 2016

Hypebeast got the “Uncaged” ball rolling with their collaborative version of the adidas Ultra Boost, and now it looks like 2015’s sneaker of the year will officially get a “cageless” general release. But take one look at these, and they may remind you of a Nike model from 2013, the original Free Flyknit. The similar look is thanks to the use of a minimal Primeknit upper with an elastic collar—just like the Flyknit construction of the 2013 Free model. Whether it’s a coincidence or not, it shouldn’t really matter, as the Ultra Boosts will almost certainly be more successful than the Free Flyknit, many pairs of which ended up at your local outlet. Preview the “cageless” adidas Ultra Boost today, and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more information as it arrives.
