Don’t get it twisted. Yes, Steph Curry is the best basketball player on the planet and his Curry signature line is a hot item. True, Jordan Brand had an awesome year and the Air Jordan XXX debut in mid-January is going to gain some steam. Mmhmm, adidas made some wave with the addition of James Harden and the release of a pretty dang clean all-white pair of Crazylight Boosts. But Nike is still at the top of the category, and this photo here is exactly why. Kobe, KD, and LeBron have carried the brand to massive success over the last decade, but to their right and left is the future of Nike’s hoops division. Paul George is having an MVP-worthy year, Kyrie is itching to get back on the court with his new Kyrie 2 signature shoe, Anthony Davis is going to be a beast for the next decade plus, and Elena Delle-Donne is playing the “face of the league” role perfectly. Squad goals achieved.
