Nike SB Is Bringing Back The “J-Rod” On The P-Rod 9 Elite

Paul Rodriguez’s first signature shoe was designed by the one and only Tinker Hatfield, so it made sense that Nike referenced Tinker’s storied Jordan Brand designs with the “J-Rod” P-Rod 1. Now the skateboarding imprint is returning to the elephant printed colorway with this latest Nike SB P-Rod 9 Elite. The Air Jordan 3 staple can be found throughout the lower-half of the shoe in an iconic cement and black color combination, leaving room for the muted grey upper to keep things clean. If the elephant print wasn’t enough of a Jordan reference, there’s even Jumpman branding on the heel. This special edition colorway will launch at Nikestore Europe on December 12th, but still no word yet on a stateside release date.
