The 1996 NBA Season featured the greatest record in NBA history, but the Bulls didn’t have a cake-walk to take the title that year because they faced off against a very formidable Seattle Supersonics team with prime Shawn Kemp and his Reebok Kamikaze IIs. The retro has been putting in work as a featured silhouette for the vector brand in recent years and now a new colorway, known as the “Overcast” pays homage to the notoriously dreary weather that Seattle has to offer, or perhaps the mood after Game 6 of that year’s championship series. An obsidian leather features a unique textile on the signature Kamikaze wave while cement speckling is almost Jordan-esque on the midsole. This Kamikaze II is available December 11th at select retailers. More photos below.
