The Air Jordan 1 “Un-Supreme” Goes Red

Air Jordan 1 Un Supreme Red Black Elephant 1

Jordan Brand inspired Supreme inspired Jordan Brand and the cycle continues. Earlier this month we showcased an upcoming Air Jordan 1 colorway nicknamed the “Un-Supreme”, a pair that looks decidedly like those Nike SB Dunks that were originally inspired by the classic Air Jordan 3 “Black/Cement”. The use of elephant print on an Air Jordan 1 has been retreaded territory time and time again, but the way Jordan Brand colored up that particular AJ1 was nearly identical to Supreme’s Dunk. Now that methodology continues on a new colorway, one that utilizes University Red throughout while ditching the cement shade entirely. Sure, we’d love to see 2012’s Supreme Dunk emulated on this pair (and a few alterations on the Swoosh and elephant print panels could accomplish just that) but this near monochromatic take still works. What do you think? Check out a better view below and lookout for this pair to hit shops come Spring 2016.
