If you’ve been on any sneaker site—or pretty much any website within the last week, you know the biggest news in the footwear world is the Nike Mag. Despite all the hype and steady flow of Mag stories this week, Back to the Future Day came and went without any kind of release of the self-lacing version of the famous shoe. Fox himself try on a pair along with confirmation from Nike that they’ll release via auction in early 2016,, but the day was a bit of a disappointment for many fans of the Mag. In this edition of Top Stories of the Week, we’ll review all of the biggest Nike Mag news, along with all the other notable headlines from Nike, adidas, ASICS, and even Li-Ning who debuted Dwyane Wade’s latest signature shoe. Continue reading to get up to speed on any sneaker stories from the past you you may have missed.
THE NIKE MAG 2015 ARRIVES

But at least we did get a first look at the Mag, with Michael J. Fox debuting the shoe on Twitter and later that night on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
