Nike stated during its Investor Meeting that revenue from women’s products pulls in $5.7 billion a year, and projects $11 billion a year by the year 2020. That’s a testament to the improving products for the female category as well as the increasing influence of the fitness boom that has taken the world by storm. One top seller is likely the Nike MetCon 1, a sneaker designed for do-it-all training that was later banned by CrossFit (for its ties to Reebok).
