Nike Made A Special Akron-Inspired LeBron Model Just For Kids

One of the major themes running through the LeBron 13 is home, as the word ‘Akronite’ will be imprinted on the outsole of each Nike LeBron 13 pair. As if that wasn’t enough of an homage to The King’s place of birth, Nike Basketball will also be including a kids-exclusive LeBron sneaker known as the Nike Air Akronite into the release schedule later this month. The debut colorway features lingering design cues from the Nike LeBron 9 “All-Star” as the Galactic theme returns in the form of the original lion and Nike patches on the side panel. A Nike Air Tech Challenge II outsole holds the base down while a Metallic Silver toebox contrasts a unique pattern on the mesh upper.
