There are certain perks to being the biggest signature athlete in the current basketball sneaker landscape. Not only do you make millions of dollars, and get an unlimited supply of PE sneakers, you also get first dibs on your shoe when it hits NIKEiD. That’s the case with LeBron James, who this morning showed off his own creation of the LeBron 13 from NIKEiD, sporting the “Lake Erie” print that’s currently offered on the customization site. Perhaps going for a hybrid South Beach/Galaxy vibe, LeBron went with a purple-based colorway for the print with a glow-in-the-dark outsole and black and pink accents. What do you think of LeBron’s custom design? Does he have a future in the Nike color department, or should he stick to hoops? Let us know your verdict in the comments below.
