Tinker Hatfield has designed more than sneakers over his numerous decades as a world famous designer. The former architect took his worldly inspirations to Mike’s signature sneaker line to prove that sneakers could be so much more than functional athletic wear, and the Air Jordan 12 marked a turning point in Jordan history as MJ transitioned into a full fledged brand with Jordan Brand becoming its own branch of Nike in 1997. Inspired by Japan’s ‘Rising Sun’ flag, the leather utilized numerous perforations to extend outward from the colorful mudguard, but this latest pair completely ditches that motif for a woven upper. Initially thought to be an Air Jordan 15Lab12 sample due to the nature of the woven construction, this Summit White and Gold appearance has a decidedly OVO feel to it. Would you rock a pair? Check out a full view below and we’ll update you with more information regarding this rare sample if anything comes up in the future.
