ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Kakishibu”

The ASICS GEL-Lyte III goes back to its Japanese roots with this latest colorway, featuring the use of the native Kakishibu textile process. Featuring the naturally-colored “Kakishibu” textile with its hue derived from persimmon juice at the shoe’s base, dark tan leather compliments the premium look across the upper. Meanwhile, bright purple adds pops of color throughout. It may be looking good enough to be a premium collaboration, but this latest look for the famous split-tongued runner is actually a general release. European retailers are reporting a launch date of September 11th, so expect these to arrive at select US ASICS Tiger stockists soon.
