Is Space Travel The Hip New Theme For Sneaker Collaborations?

As one of the more prolific European stores to collaborate with various sneaker brands, sneakersnstuff again links up with adidas Originals for the brand new “Swedish Satellite Pack.” Inspired by a forgotten 1966 NASA space program by the name of Gemini X, this collaboration sees the two companies working together on two timeless adidas silhouettes, and one popular newcomer. First up is the revitalized Stan Smith sneaker that comes equipped in a matte silver upper similar to those found on spacesuits, as well as a red white and blue velcro patch on the tongue. Next is the legendary Superstar model that draws reference to the cameras used by NASA early on by covering the upper in a black tumbled leather, and includes rubber gripping on the heel and three stripes. Finally, the Tubular Runner is somewhat familiar, and features a blacked-out appearance inspired by the stars in space. Open mesh adorns the upper with hints of suede for a premium look.
