Another day, another new adidas Tubular model. It’s no secret that the three stripes are more than happy with the comfortable and head-turning outsole unit inspired by one of their more popular and off-limits adidas Y-3 creations. Now the premium takes continue with the adidas Tubular X Primeknit. X is a part of the name, not as the traditional sense of a collaborative effort. Perhaps its a reference to the unique heel construction and ankle support that forms an X-like shape in a durable mesh or is a clever not to the fact that Tubular and Primeknit technology are teaming up to form some sort of intra-brand “collaboration”. The Primeknit returns in the form of that snakeskin aesthetic while a fused toecap adds support. So what do you think of the latest take on the ever-evolving Tubular imprint?
