It’s All About Barkley’s Earlier Days With This Nike Retro “PE”

Barkley Early Days Nike Air Alpha Force Ii Pe 01

Charles Barkley never won an NBA championship, but he came mighty close during his early days running with the Philadelphia 76ers. Barkley’s time as a signature athlete for the Swoosh is usually remembered by his Suns-centric purple and black pairs of the Nike Air Max2 CB ’94, but today we get a reminder of his time studying under Dr. J and Moses Malone with this Nike Air Alpha Force II PE. The archival model bares some resemblance to Bo Jackson’s early trainers thanks to the midfoot strap while the numerous leather panels bring back memories of the Air Flight ’89. This vintage colorway utilizes Philly’s clean royal and red accents throughout while a bold ’34’ is stitched on the heel leaving no doubts that this is a straight forward Barkley homage. Available at overseas retailers right now.
