The Nike Air EnterTrainer Resembles The Air Yeezy

Nike Entertrainer Yeezy Rip Off 01

Nike Sportswear’s post-Yeezy references have been a polarizing example of Kanye‘s lingering influence despite bolting for the rival three stripes. People have either flocked to releases like the Nike Dunk High CMFT ‘Yeezy’ or frowned upon the overt jocking of an aesthetic Kanye solely helped champion during his time collaborating with Nike. Regardless of where you stand, models like this unreleased sample trainer known as the Nike Air EnterTrainer show that Nike still had more Yeezy-like creations in store. Even the name could be a possible playful take on the fact that Kanye was the first non-athlete/ entertainer to get a signature deal at Nike. The midsole and heel construction are are all noticeably similar to those found on the Yeezy 2. We can only imagine how popular this pair would’ve been had it released at retailers in an all-red look. For whatever reason, Nike thought it wise to hold off on a release, but would you rock these? Check out more photos of the Entertrainer below and let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
